They are both Harvard-educated and their 5 children were the inspiration behind the creation of this revolutionary new summer program

Brain Chase is a 6-week summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. A golden globe has been buried somewhere on earth – and it contains the key to a safe deposit box holding a $10,000 college scholarship fund. Participants who complete an hour of online summer learning activities each day will unlock secret animated webisodes that hold the clues to the globe’s whereabouts. Guess the treasure’s location first, and you’ll be the one on a plane to dig it up.

Enrollment is limited to the first 5,000 entrants.
Kickoff is June 30. Last registration July 18.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our facilities include 12 classrooms, a performing arts center, an amphitheater, a playground, basketball courts, a play field, and a multipurpose room which serves as a gym and a dining hall.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: In this week-long drama camp, we will learn the tricks of the trade, from stage terms to make-up, costumes, and props. Basic theater movement and dance will be explored.

Campers will play improvisation and drama games, learn how to read a script with a discerning eye, and deliver lines with Oscar-worthy expression. With the help of an experienced drama teacher, we will put on a production of theatrical proportions.

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Join us from June 24th-June 28th for Adventures in Acting camp. Camp begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. We offer after care services until 6 p.m. at $7 an hour. The cost of this week-long camp is $215. Check out our registration form on the website for special discounts!

CAMP FACILITIES: Alpengirl campers sleep in 3-4 person backpacking style tents, we practice outdoor living, cooking, and Leave No Trace skills. A majority of our campsites have bathroom and running water and are located in gorgeous wilderness settings in mountains, next to fresh water streams, and by pristine lakes.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Alpengirl Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and has a staff to camper ratio of 1:4 or 1:6. Our camp is highly supervised with small groups of 12 girls led by 2-3 adult female role model Alpenguides. Alpenguides are all 21+ and hold certifications in Wilderness First Aid and CPR.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Alpengirl is a multi-adventure camp, we offer a variety of adventure activities in each session. We also practice daily yoga and enjoy cooking and eating delicious, healthy camp food. Campers are involved in all aspects of camp life including acting as leader of the day, setting up tents, cooking on camp stoves, following hiking maps, leading fun activities with the group and being part of a close-knit team.

US Performing Arts Camps is considered the premier top tier summer program for training young people in the arts. Our programs are taught by the university or college departments and their professional faculty and guest professionals in their fields.

CAMP FACILITIES: This great space includes a sound recording room, stage with lighting, lab area, and professional art display wall that really make visual projects pop.

Close to town while still just a short walk to The Locks and the natural areas, parks, and trails, this camp location offers such a wealth of summer fun and a unique backdrop for projects. Campers can opt to join a special Friday Rock Climbing Workshop at the indoor climbing gym.

CAMP FACILITIES: The independent, non-profit Museum of Flight is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, attracting more than 500,000 visitors annually. The Museum's collection includes over 150 historically significant air- and spacecraft, as well as the Red Barn, the original manufacturing facility of The Boeing Co., the original papers of the Wright brothers, and the one-of-a-kind NASA Space Shuttle Trainer, used to train every space shuttle astronaut since the inception of the program.

Among the most popular exhibits at the Museum are the world's first fighter plane, the first jet Air Force One, the prototype Boeing 747, the West Coast's only Concorde, and the world's fastest aircraft, the Blackbird spy plane. More than just an attraction, however, the Museum is a hub of science, technology, engineering, and math education, serving over 150,000 participants each year through on-site and outreach programs and the Museum's aviation and space library and archives are the largest on the West Coast, holding more than 1.4 million images. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Aerospace Camp Experience (ACE) has exciting programs and activities, caring and knowledgeable staff, and a world-class museum to explore. Only with The Museum of Flight can campers launch rockets, create aircraft, experience microgravity, build robots, and pilot actual airplanes. If you have an inquiring mind and want to have fun this summer exploring aviation and aerospace, ACE is the camp for you. Campers are welcome at ACE regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religious affiliation. Contact the ACE Coordinator concerning campers with special needs or physical restrictions prior to registration. The Museum of Flight strives to accommodate all children within the constraints of our facility and our programs. The Aerospace Camp Experience is the recipient of the ACA Gordie Hamilton Award for Excellence in Camping Programming. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: ACE Counselors Apprentice Program is a program where participating students will learn about all aspects of a summer camp. Each apprentice will spend time interacting with campers, developing programs, and assisting with other camp-related duties. Apprentices will also have the opportunity to participate in trips during the summer. ACE Counselors in Training must complete one week of training. After completing training, Apprentices must volunteer a minimum of 35 hours during the summer but will be able to create their own volunteer schedule.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp TechWise offers 5-day computer day-camps in Seattle for kids ages 8 - 16. Each participant will choose ONE of the primary topics at the time they enroll. Once at camp, campers can decide to stay focused on their "primary topic / project" or jump into any number of secondary workshops which are offered throughout each day. Secondary topics include subjects such as programming, networking, website development, gaming, and also outside recreation and sports. Our customizable computer camp program serves the needs of both the Techy-kids who want full-immersion and also those who want a program with a balance of several topics and/or recreation periods. Kids are grouped by their primary topics (and divided by age and/or into projects when appropriate).

CAMP FACILITIES: We are completely outdoors, training campers in skills of wilderness survival, wildlife tracking, wild edible foods foraging and herbal medicine making.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Wolf Camp ran its first nature and survival summer camps in 1997. We now offer a host of camps for kids, youth, adults and family. July 2-8, 2023: Advanced Wilderness Scout Skills near Mt Rainier for ages 11-17 from Sunday 6pm – Saturday 11am. $985 plus personal food and gear. Prerequisite: One previous overnight camp, or two day camps in past years, or acceptance into our IIT Youth Mentoring Program with three workshops and one day camp with us earlier this summer or in past years. Weekend stayover option also available.

July 9-15, 2023 Advanced Wilderness Survival Trek near Mt Rainier for ages 11-17 from Sunday 6pm – Saturday 11am. $985 plus personal food and gear. Prerequisite: One previous overnight camp with us in prior week or years, with complimentary stayover also available from the previous camp week.

July 31 – Aug 4, 2023 Tracking Birds, Bobcats, Bears & Beyond at Lake Sammamish for ages 10-15 from Monday 9am – Friday 4pm. $985 includes all expenses. Prerequisite: One overnight camp with us earlier this summer or in past years, or at least two day camps with us in past years, or completion of our Wildlife Search & Rescue day camp the previous week plus additional screening application upon registration. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our staff is composed MIT, Stanford and Columbia alumni. Our instructors are PhD students, software engineers at FAANG companies and Fulbright scholars. We have won awards for our research.

Our advanced theory and application based curriculum is student-led and covers all the hottest topics in research and industry. Our A+ instruction not only prepares students to get accepted to their dream colleges, but also more importantly thrive in their dream colleges. The MehtA+ Tutoring teaching team has taught more than 300 students who have received 30+ scores on their ACT, perfect scores on SAT subject tests, learned some of the most in-demand skills in the job market and have been admitted to some of the top most universities in the countries such as MIT, Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, UPenn, Carnegie Mellon, University of Toronto, Johns Hopkins and UIUC.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: At MehtA+, we ignite student passion for engineering. Our offerings are catered towards students from Kindergarten to College Freshman and involve a fusion of the humanities and the sciences. We believe the best way to learn something is to apply it and as such, all of our opportunities are application-based.

Our bootcamps give students an in-depth opportunity to learn concepts that are normally taught at the university level, while our workshops serve as a fantastic introduction to a new subject. In order to make engineering education more accessible, our digital kits are always free to everyone and allow students to create something awesome. Volunteerships are offered to former students who are looking to volunteer their time and apply what they have learned for social good, as they intern for one of our clients.

Our college preparatory services, which involve subject tutoring, standardized test preparation and college consulting, provide students the resources they need to be ready for college.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: As fun as camping, canoeing and crafts combined, Zeno Math Camps keep the math momentum rolling all year long. How? Campers are guided through an adventure of math games, activities and experiments that reveal the fun of math! Zeno’s one-week, all inclusive, half day camps are designed to increase math competency in fun and exciting ways.

Adventures in Arrgh-rithmetic: Campers work on pirate-themed activities focused on measurement, geometry, time, navigation, technology, number sense, and problem solving. K-2nd grades

Art & Architecture: Campers create their own buildings and other objects while learning how geometry affects art, architecture, and city design. 3-5th grades

Ancient Secrets of Numbers: Campers work together to discover the history of counting, how numbers were developed and the origins of ancient number systems. 3-5th grades
